    early manifolds

Looking through some sets of early 67 manifolds, I came across a set of earlier sandcast manifolds which I believe were the manifolds used on the early Webers after they transitioned from Solex carbs. They lack the gussets of the later carbs and have the flat mating surface to the carbs. Pics show the obvious, with the last one a comparison th a set of 67 manifolds. I am not likely to be needing these in the future. Someone on the board a couple years ago advised me that the yellow-gold patina was representative of the sets for Webers. Eventually these should fall into the hands of someone needing correct manifolds for their carbs. For what spread of dates would these be correct, and what is a reasonable market value?
    TIA

Response was overwhelming. Lots of views, but that's about it. I will post these shortly for sale. If you have an early weber car and need correct manifolds, PM me directly.

Webers replaced Solex carbs in Feb66 and by July66 the 911S was introduced to the market. By the time the 911S became available I assume die-cast manifolds were available. A common exterior mold could be reconfigured to provide the different port diameters required for the Normal 911 and for the 911S. I assume the sand cast manifolds were used from Feb through June or possibly a shorter run time.
