FS: 1973 911E Coupe in Gemini Blue Metallic

This is a numbers-matching well-optioned E coupe with records from 1988 - 2008, that appears to have been lovingly maintained by the three prior owners. Steel S front bumper, aluminum S calipers, working Becker radio, five fuchs, wheel arch molding, dealer installed AC and original sportomatic transmission installed and working properly. In January, I drove this car from LA to Scottsdale and back (approximately 1,000 miles over 4 days) without issue. Asking price of $89,000, offers welcome.

Thanks. I would be happy to personally deliver the car to you in Spain (or elsewhere on the continent) this spring!

Suspension pan replaced last year, otherwise all original panels on the car. Private party sale with clear title in my name.

Lovely car, best colour. I think it will probably stay in the US , but even a 1.08 the market here in Europe is very strong.

The falling Euro has made all Porsches more expensive for our friends across the pond, not limited to just this one. The demand for good cars remains strong. This car has clearly been well-loved throughout its life, and is priced well below comparable 5-speeds. The sporto is not for everyone, but I've found it to be an enjoyable and amusing driving experience. The biggest challenge is going back and forth between other cars and this one - my tendency is to leave my hand on the shifter when I drive, which is a no-no in the sportomatic. After driving the sporto for a while and then getting back in a car with a normal transmission, I've found a couple of occasions when I forget to depress the clutch and shift to neutral as I approach a stoplight!

    I love sportomatic 911s. I just don't have anywhere near 89K ...
