    90154206300 window 'thrust wedge'

These are the rubber buffers that stop the window frame from banging in to the door frame. They are missing from my car (pic is from someone else) but are NLA from Porsche. Anyone know if there is an alternative supplier/repro? Alternatively does anyone have one with dimensions (how wide/long/high)?Name: image.jpg

Size: 180.1 KBI can't even find a pic on the interweb. Obviously there are lots of ways of achieving the same end, just interested in starting with the factory solution.

Looks similar to the engine compartment seal (circles the engine and attached to the body). I have a short piece of a VW seal, I'll try and post a pic.

I have always thought that I was pretty familiar with 911s. That said, I have no idea what you are referring to. What year do these parts supposedly come from? I don't recall ever seeing anything like that in any 911 door. Where is it located in the door?

I think they are glued to the bottom of the door frame. Aren't they in all the early cars?

    3D printer time??

I've seen them in many cars,,,,,but not necessarily all! Don't know if that means they disappeared over the years, or didn't all have them. I have for sure seen them in early power window cars, I assume to keep you from binding the motor by running it too far.

Here's some pics (not mine) for reference. I want them to stop the window from making an awful bang when it hits the door frame.

some have it glued some have it bolted....
the glued type i have seen only on early cars(not in all) in varying thickness(rubber mat not the triangular shape )

maybe the parts cataloge can give an answer....

    update:

just had a look at my parts catalogs
    68 does not show it
    70 does have it listed

i dont have a 69 catalog but i think it is a lwb thing

my very late 68 911L did not have the bolted in type.

i have very often seen some door seal profile bits put in neuralgic places to avoid creaking--done by the factory.

parcel shelf, dash are some of the places.
