    FS: @dkeng.co.uk - "Worlds Best" 1967 911S

    Hi Guys,

Some of you already know about the sales history of this amazing car.

Sold for $400k in the last 12 months I believe.

    Back for sale again.
I am trying to get a price for the car. Rumor is that the asking is $500k USD.

    Have fun!

I hate myself for doing this, it is such an outstanding car, but is it possible that the world's finest '67S has:
    an incorrectly colored oil filter?
    a missing pre-heat hose?
    the wrong front compartment carpeting?
    incorrect oil tank lines?

Easily correctable items for such a grandiose claim. As always, hope seller gets their price.

If it is $500K, I think we're approaching tulip time.

oh heavens no - that car is nothing short of $1MM this week - you can flip it next week for $2MM - likely to run up to $10MM - buy away you can't lose

    Thought I'd post
Oil filter- Have a "Show" period filter that we ran and a "modern" one for normal driving... That's what's there now.
Trunk Carpet is indeed correct, This and two others of the Seven car GMT 67 S project had square weave! Confirmed, Verified, for sure. Even ran this past the factory guys!
Oil Lines- Please comment further. I'm always perfecting the builds....
Pre-Heat hose. It was there when it left the shop in Sept. '13...
Still trying to get the new "handlers" to fix the knee pad vinyl at the corner too... I would do this as follow up sorting but it's a long trip to Bend OR.
And PRICING! I too, am looking at current prices with surprise (Makes the $175K I had advertised for car #4 look pretty good now, huh?) . A market correction was WAY OVER DUE for these cars but who would have guessed 350, 400 and now 500Large?!?! Remember first last and fastest of a model, these are the Blue Chip's, the collectables. And what else is comparable? British? Maybe a Lotus, Italian? Dino?, American? Nothing, It takes another Porsche to do this... the RS, Any early car with "Sports Purposes" pieces. The S is the coin of the realm in the early Porsche 911 market, due to reasons known by all who frequent this site and that they are truly a Factory "S"pecial! We knew this before anybody else did so I hope registry members put a few away...

I thought the oil hoses should look like this (at least I hope so)...
Also, the "Johnson" book is equally emphatic re: Perlon trunk carpet

A real beauty. For the record, what's the VIN, engine, trans numbers? I know this car has been previously listed on this forum.

Such a nice build! Lovely 67S. I wish you found the correct Hella 128's and not the 'yellow glass' one you are using though. The original hella's are unique!
