I'm sure i have posted this before but i can't find my posting. I have been asked by lots of early 911 owners to let them know when Pirelli re manufactured the OE 911 tyre 185/70VR15 Cinturato CN36. we have it available here :-

Why no dealer in Australia,not enough demand?
I didn't buy my tb15's through longstone because I refused to pay the 150 on principle (used to be free to Australia and still stated just that on the web at the the time until I double checked by email before ordering). Used a local supplier out of Melbourne special order to the factory,waited three months for delivery(Michelin were making new batch) but paid slightly less than longstone for tyres and no freight to Australia.

Yes there was a time where our carrier had made a mistake and given us shipping prices to Austrailia that were unsustainable. we passed it on to our Austrailian customers and Shipped some of the tyres we sell out there free of shipping charges.

I am sorry if we offered you free carriage and then before you ordered we were forced to charge for shipping. That must have been unfortunate shipping. we do still ship tyres to Aus, but suprise suprise not as we did when carriage was free.

I think £ 150 is very cheap to ship a set of tyres from one side of the world to the other. Of course if the tyres are available from a more local dealer they should cheaper. However i might suggest that we are worth checking, because exchange rates changing mean some times we will be competitively priced.

Those TB tyres are brilliant aren't they.

If you are looking to buy these in Australia give these guys a call and get a quote. European Technique (03 94285547) very easy to deal with.Saved me around the $300Aud freight(today's conversion),import duty/gst if they had come from the Uk.
If not in stock they are worth the wait...
