Thread: 901 Transaxle Parts

    901 Transaxle Parts

I'm in the midst of disassembling a bunch of 901 transaxles

So far I have the following available:

    901 gears:
    A 1st gear - 3pcs - includes 1st / reverse idler - $225
    F 2nd shaft and gear - $225
    GA 2nd shaft and gear - $225
    M 3rd gear - $200
    O 3rd gear - $200
    S 4th gear - $200
    V 4th gear - $200
    X 5th gear - $200
    Z 5th gear - $200
    ZA 5th gear - $200

    7:31 Ring and pinion - $350

I also have a few 914 transaxles apart - some of the gears are the same ratio as the 901 and the 5th is a tall ZD. They are matched gears from the same transaxle, but don't have the same ink markings like the 901 gears do (more mass produced?), so I'm pricing them at $100
    914 Gears:
    A 1st gear - 3pcs - includes 1st / reverse idler - $100
    F 2nd shaft and gear $115
    N 3rd gear - $100
    V 4th gear - $100
    ZD 5th gear - $100

    7:31 ring and pinion - VW stamping - $175

Will include the dog teeth / synchros with the gears.

I also have a bunch of good internals like sliders, speedo drives, axle flanges, etc.
Let me know if you need any particular item.

    Regards
    Andrew M

I live just north of the US/Can border and ship from Minnesota once a week.
I cross the border and file the paperwork / pay fees with US Customs and then ship via USPS out of a regional post office MN usually in a flat rate box

Free boxes, free tracking AND cheap shipping? I love USPS

    Hi Andrew,

Thank you for the ring and pinion set, and the gear sets.
I am very happy with it.

    Thanks Robert!

Bump for some reduced prices on a few gears (shipping was cheaper than I thought on the 2nd gear sets)

I've got lots of gears and parts still

    Hi,
Do you have any drive flanges for using cv joint axles on a nadella type diff. They had a larger bolt hoe down the middle I think.
    Thanks
    Reuben
