FS: 1968 912 1 owner no rust #'s matching CA fixer

California car bought new at Lasher Porsche in Sacramento CA and never changed ownership or left town...Ever. Original 'pink slip' (title issued in 71 as the bank/lienholder had the first one and 71 is when the loan was paid in full). Original owners manuals and complete records. Matching numbers. Was hit in the owners driveway in 1981. It was hit in rear and pushed under the vehicle parked in front of it. It has not been driven since the accident. Miles are correct @ 69,033. Car was not salvaged and original owner kept it all these years with plans to eventually repair it. For the first several years car lived in owners son in laws body shop, eventually was moved outside for a brief time, and then spent the last 20+ years in the owners private storage. Pictures document how the car looked fresh from storage prior to being washed for better detail pictures (225 in total). Almost always stored indoors, this car is rust free. Extremely solid, dry car, trunk may appear damp in pictures but that is from it’s first rinsing off by me, since 1982! Floors, rockers, doors, etc all look amazing. Obviously front and rear will need accident repair. Door gaps are prefect and open and close like new. All windows and glass are perfect with very good gaps as well. The extent of the damage seems to be isolated to just the very front and rear. Excellent original britework and trim. Original Ca black plates frozen in time, with last registration tag of 1982 still in place (receipt of last registration also included). Interior took a bit of beating on the top of seats (however they function perfectly still without issue and are very sound and complete) and rear tray. The rest of the interior is really pretty darn good still. Original dash, excellent door cards, very good original SWB rubber mats front and rear, original radio, great guage condition, great stainless, all emblems, nothing missing, never modified, very little if any rot or rust pitting.

Motor # 1281302 has been confirmed as matching and can be referenced with Porsche COA department, case file # 5333091.
Original paint (code#6808 Burgundy Red) Yes, original paint under all that bodyshop overspray and dust.
All 5 original steel wheels are date matching and have excellent caps/covers.
Rare dealer installed A/C is complete and includes original service manuals.
    Original Toolkit (pending).
Extra swb grill and NOS NLA rain tray also included.
Front and rear bumpers and all damaged parts included.
97% complete original car, time warp, CALIFORNIA garage find!
