    .49 Cents Gallon -- 100 octane

    Contemplating - how strange it would seem at that price..

    Of course....without Satellites, AMX, Chevelles rolling off assembly lines, it's not really the same type of event.

    ( 100 octane in the title...joking )

    Probably around 1968 I remember putting .19 p/gallon gas my mom's '66 283 Chevelle during a price war in Michigan. It seemed cheap, even then on my high school budget.
