    Heat Exchangers

A solid, nice set of heat exchangers that are not rusted or bent up, just dirty from years of sitting in storage.

These look factory correct but without the bung. Does anyone know why no bung?
As far as I know even carbed cars had the bung but with a cap welded on the end.

    Thanks for any info

These don't have a bung because there for a carburetor equipped car. My '71T coupe had original heat exchangers and they have no bung on them. The experts can chime in but I'm pretty sure the bung was only there if the car was originally fuel injected.

    I agree

    I know buying 'old/used' isn't as exciting as 'new/shiny/sexy/(stainless)' . . .

. . . but it warms my heart to see this kind of good OG stuff come up for sale, here --- then find a home in/under another car . . .

And at this price? . . . there's enough money to clean/paint to suit

    And?

You KNOW it's gonna fit/work right

I'd have bought these instantly if I saw the ad in time. Good, fair buy for some carbureted-motor boxes.
