Red handle screw driver handle plus two side driver bit...73...

    Hi,

Selling this red handle drew driver handle plus the two sided insert that has seen better days. I have got it re-chromed but the Chrom-Vanadium letters have disappeared. It is a bit loose in the handle. Still those are very hard to find.
    Asking $200,- posted.

    Kind regards,

    Cees

That looks like the later (964-993) red handle. I notice all the '73 red handles I've had/seen looks different (rounder in the skirt end).

    Hi Andy,

I have seen at least three different types between the 73, 73.5 etc tool kit. Rounded off, square etc. I never figured out which one is really correct for the 73 tool kit. I found this one with a bunch of other Porsche tools. Anyway, it is sold.

    Best regards,

    Cees

Thanks Cees. The screwdriver shank alone is worth the asking price, so it was well bought. Andy

    read handle differences

    Dear all,

To add a little more detail about the red handle. In this picture the top two re almost similar except for the rounded end the last one is a bit different (and hard to see) but they all read Made in W. Germany. We know that after the 9t hof November 1990 W. Germany did not exist anymore more so I doubt these handles would show up with the 993. The 964 was produced from 1986 to 1990 so a red handle could come with it's tool kit but I have no idea about these.

    Kind regards,

    Cees
