    Sterling parts

    Hello I have a 1966 912 does anybody know if the rubber coupling for the lower steering I think the part number is 901.347.201.00 also what are you guys replacing in the steering column upper and lower any help would be great

    It's not really clear what you're asking. PET shows a different part number depending on the year:

    65 - 67 901.347.201.00 STEERING COUPLING
    68 - 73 901.347.201.02 STEERING COUPLING

    901.347.201.00 seems to be NLA but 901.347.201.02 is available from all the usual suppliers. While having a sound steering coupling is definitely safety critical, it's not exactly a precision part. 901.347.201.02 seems to fit the oldest cars and it's probably just an improvement. It probably fits all 911s and 912s up to 1989--I just don't have parts references for "new" cars.
