It would be good to also post this info in the sticky thread in the FS section: http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...-Cars-for-Sale

There are also stickies with warnings about scammers in the parts and wanted section.

A lot of bad stuff seems to happen in Florida. Maybe it's legal down there.

Florida is the capital of crooks, starting with the governor; he's the biggest crook of all; there are some good people down there, but you have to be very careful

Plenty of craigslist scams, I agree, I'd dare say more than 80% maybe 90% of the ads I view are scams, but I just bought two cars via craigslist, a daily driver 2012 vw golf R and an 83 SC with 3.6 that were some of the the best deals I've ever found.

Don't lose hope. Lots of great cars still around.

I bought my 71t off of craigslist via a wanted ad I agree though, a lot of scammers out there. I'll never buy a car site unseen or accept a wire transfer...

Just curious....why wouldn't you accept a wire transfer as a seller? I would have thought that was the safe way to get paid.
