    Something for the Old Timers

During this past week, one of the Engineers I work with has driven three Fiats from his collection. He won't tell me how many cars he has, but one of them is my '66 VW that I wish I had back. The first one was a 650 with the rear deck lid kicked out, but I didn't get a pic of that one. Next came an 850 Abarth, which was very cool. And today he showed up in this little green one (last 3 pics). Apparently a 695cc Abarth motor. All very cool!! Enjoy

Yep, haven't seen those since when racing in SCCA and those little bandits ran in C and D sedan class. Coszintino was the guru for those guys back then.

Ed, I think we talked about it before, but if you knew the late Al (Cosentino) back in the day..... and especially after his days in the limelight...... you could write a book.

Come to think of it he did write most of down in his FAZA catalog ...........

If you were looking up 'race car character' you would be looking at Al's picture..........

    Hopefully he's resting in peace........

Great posts. There was a least one Abarth at Ameila Island last years. Looked like great fun.

I'd own one. (Probably wouldn't drive it.)
