    911 colors per year

    Hello,

I'm working on a project for our website (ecurie lyford ...coming soon) to publish a database with correct 911 colors and color codes from 1963 until 1973. I know several databases exist on the web, but perhaps it can be done differently?

Would it be appropriate if I asked members here to send me emails with hi def photos of their car with color codes as well as a detail photo of their paint "color only" (as flat as possible, like detailed photo of engine lid) ?

Photos selected would be published on the website.

    Thanks,

    Milou

Yes, actually to make it as simple as possible, I would be grateful if I could receive emails on thomasseydoux@gmail.com with the following content:

Heading: Color code: 6405 111 Champagne Yellow, (1965 model year, standard color 911)

In the email simply post a general photo that best illustrates the car color correctly and possibly a second photo detailing the actual color, I don't think I need an image of the color plate, although it may provide an added bonus to the database.

All colors are welcome of course, standard, optional, and special colors.

    Thank you very much,

Would it be useful to have high res images from a paint sample book? I think I could do this for the 1963-73 period - it just might take a while to do as single files…there are quite a few colours!

    Cheers,
