    Headliner Cardboard Reinforcement

    Hi there,

unfortunately i never found a reinforcement of the headliner covering the C- pillar at its bottom as my car (MJ '67) has been in a quite bad condition when i found it.
Actually i am about to replace the headliner and i would be pleased to get some info on how these areas originally looked.
Has there been some cardboard reinforcement and how did it look like?
    Am i mistaken?
Could you guys who might have details post some photos of the area where the C- Pillar - ends of the headliner meet the parcel shelf on a '67 Coupé please?
And if not: How this portion has been mounted originally and has been attached to the C Pillar root?

    Thanks a lot,

    Robert

    Hi Robert,
Here are a few pics for when I installed my headliner in my '67. Cardboard strips are original, and were found to be tack-nailed into place. Pls note that I received my car in pieces, so cannot say with 100% certainty that this is how it was installed... but did enough homework and reading that I'm pretty sure. Others may provide further insight.
