    Is this a facet pump

    I bought this in zink yellow with the sticker on on Ebay from a australian guy. Can anyone tell me if it is a bad made copy of the facet ?, as the internals look strange.

    should I use the pump?, now that I have painted it an got the banjos...

    It does not look like a Facet pump...go to your local NAPA parts store and they will show you what a Facet pump (they are electronic) looks like...there are several models of Facets and they differ based on the fuel pressure they deliver. If you have a carbureted early 911...then you can use a Facet...(About $55 bucks) As long as the fuel pressure is below five pounds. I believe there is one that is 2.5 to 4 pounds. Only issue is mounting....

    Facet made two pumps: one just like yours (in fact, a Bendix replica) and their older solid-state electronic ones which always had very questionable reliability and IMHO, a POS.

    You have a good pump right there.

    Steve, what type of downstream fuel filter would you suggest if using a facet pump on a twin-plug carb engine?
