FS: Kienzle (VDO) Aviator Watch - $20 Shipped

So what's the deal? I bought this watch a few years ago because I had read that Kienzle was associated with VDO. I stumbled upon this example and bought it because it reminded me of the gauges in my '68, reminded me of the IWC watches I like, is black with sans-serif font and is simple in design. Most of all, I bought it because it was cheap and I don't wear crazy ass expensive watches that could feed my mom's village for a year.

This would be a nice "beater" or "daily driver" watch. You'd look at it and subliminally want to drive your 68+ Porsche. You would not feel guilty that it would only feed my mom's village for only two days.

It's in like new condition. I added a black leather strap with white stitching...think Prototipo and all the other cool vintage steering wheels with white stitching.

Quartz movement. Stainless steel back. 1 ATM water resistant. 068.11 serial number.

    It needs a battery.

$20 shipped Priority Mail within the US.

If it's a "true" Keintzel then it probably stopped working years ago. And it makes a loud TICK TICK TICK if it does work...you can probably hear it over the sound of the engine.

Nice watch. I'd have bought it if I saw this ad sooner.
