    I believe 907919 would be a '67 911 Normale...

Let's split the difference and call it a '66 MY (which it is). Might have a '65 casting date.

    Peter,

My June 66 build date 911 has engine no. 908061, so with a gap of only 70 it seems this is likely a Apr/May 1966, late 66 MY engine.
Still valuable, just perhaps not THAT valuable.
Good luck with your sale in any event.

That's intereting! Because my july 66 911 engine #907997 (which I'm still looking for! )

Do they choose engine numbers randomly?

    Sixpac,
    You're on crack.

If you think this is a sixty five,
You and your friend are full of jive.

(Assuming a friend and liquor we're involved here; no one comes up with this crap by themselves.)

You have a good $7-11k core there so it's not all bad news. If you throw in the blue strap, add 5 more dollars.

That's cool but imagine if I tried selling Peter a '65 Daytona engine?
    He would guffaw at me.

You gots to do your homework before you post ads with OUTRAGEOUS prices.
