Smile Back Light and Bridge/Bypass switches Sportomatic

I am having trouble with my Back Light switch on my 1968 911L. Fails to work intermittently which means the starter is not powered when you turn the ignition key to start it. Usually corrected by moving the shift lever in and out of Park/etc. The reversing light also only works intermittently. Part of problem may be the 4 pin connector.

    Interested in any feedback.

    Thanks
