So to summerize this, is the mirror you have is a later mirror since I know that they still make those talbots but they don't say W Berlin anymore and they say Berlin only! Yours is stamped with Berlin?!

I am really interested in buying something that's in this quality but I also want to make sure I'm buying the correct part! I am looking for a really early senior talbot mirror.

Wael, in part the answer to your question is this.... (And know this, I'm in no way an authority on the subject but I've had a couple handfuls of em and sold a few.)

Older Talbot (original) mirrors say West Berlin because they were indeed made in West Germany.
New Talbot mirrors (manufactured and distributed by Aardvark International who bought the Talbot rights and designs) say "Berlin" not because they are made in Germany (which they are not) but rather they are the "Berlin" model. they are still high quality but they aren't of age.

As for Green dot versus stamped. I've got one of each that are both W. Berlin (so they had to both be made before the fall of the wall).
Porsche taste on a Volkswagen budget...

Thank you so much.. That's what I thought too and wasn't sure that it's as old to be a 64-65!

    Thanks for the input

Without getting confusing the mirror is 64 date code have three other NOS same date code with packaging. As the mirrors are not marked for date of manufacture can only go by packaging I suspect.

I don't think you can date the mirrors by the enclosed instructions - I've had ~ 10 early Talbot 'Berlin' mirrors with their original boxes & all of the instructions were dated '64 ...

Thanks andy and everyone my error anyone want to help me date these ? The boxes are the earlier type rather than the green ones so I assumed date code was accurate. My mistake if you have instructions on 10 year old ones that have 64 date code. Sorry for any misrepresentation.

The 303 is ideal for the factory catalogue location on the fender or door swb
