WTB: 15x9 wheels that fit the rear of a 911.

I have custom flares on the rear of my 75, and I can fit 15x9 wheels that have the same spacing as Fuchs. Anyone got some wheels? This pic is eights with a spacer.

Dave, why not go to 16" on the rear?
9 X 16 Fuchs are readily available and the tire selection is better. Overall diameter will change a bit but going from 50 aspect ratio to 45 and gaining a larger foot print should offset the gearing change.

I have 2 15x8 RSR finished wheels that have one inch added to the inside.. making them 15x9's...with the right spacers they fit SC Carrera 911's great. they just don't have the 15x9 deep lip look..but will fit your car..

Frank, since 15x9 are so hard to find, and seem pricey, I may look at going to 16", and you're right about tire selection. However I'm running a 7:31 so I'm hesitant that 16" wheels might change things too much....but I'm open to what's out there. This car is 90% autox and track.

    Dave,
    I'm going to back up.

After looking at the Hoosier catalog and with your flares, the R6 (or new R7- haven't tested them yet...) in a 275/35-15 would be The Bomb!
10" of tread and same overall diameter of 245/45-15 (23") is the ticket.

You need to figure out how to afford 9 X 15's.
I would think you could assemble some BBS wheels for say... $600 ea?

275? That seems very wide. I was thinking I could go from 225 to 245 on the 9" wheels.

Or he could buy my BBS . I've run this setup, and it's a lot of traction - generated 1.5G on my meter. Lots of understeer, though; I found running the 225/45 all the way around better for Auto x. Hoosier didn't make the 245 in A6 at the time I bought mine, but i imagine it would be better for the rear than the 275/35.
When I had the 275/35 rears and 225/45 fronts, I felt like I was driving a steamroller - just didn't want to change directions.

I'm running 225 on all 4 corners. Looking to go to 245 in the rear.
