Vintage Recaro repack - info please

I have 3 sets of oringial Recaro race seats cira 72/73, never touched but the inside foam is staring to power and decay (as we all do after 40 years ) the covers are very good and don't need work .
so i am lead to belive that the oringial plastic rivets that attach the covers to the shell are nla ? am i correct ?

if i did repack the seats and put everything back as per oringial would that be a decrease in value ?

Its about time somebody made some new clear rivets to restore those seats. I need a bunch myself. Id pay more for good looking and working seats than those in need of new foam.
