    Elephant skin

    Came across this material, can anyone tell me how close this is to the original elephant skin.

    Looks like a pachyderm to me..... I'd say taken from the Dark Grey's North/West pack of Botswana during the Ivory Wars of the late 70's and 80's......

    It looks like your sample is Marshall tolex vinyl which is shown against the original elephant hide on the dash and comfort seats in the thread.
