    FS: Dash with Integral Speaker Grill

    also have one NOS of this and always was wondering what year it is correct for(1970??)....can anyone confirm this statment on the bird?:

    "As an FYI, this dash type was never original equipment for any year 911. It was a replacement dash sold later by Porsche for 69-75 cars that came delivered with removable speaker grills."

    I believe that to be a true statement. All dashes had removable grills until 74 or 75. For the next 2 years, I think they made the speakerless dash, because I have seen dashes with no speaker grills but the metal frames were open for a speaker. Sometime in the 80s they started making replacement dashes like mine, but they had problems fitting and needed trimming around the defrost vents. This one I am selling was made in 2006 and fits without trimming.

    I have a 67 912 which came with a non removable speaker as pictured. The removable started in 68 or 69.
