1968 911 seatbelt anchor points - need some help

Need to install seatbelts in my 1968 911 with touring seats, but need some help with identifying/locating lower anchor points and brackets. Upper anchor point for shoulder belt is there and in good condition but i am confused about the various anchor points and its brackets for lap belts. Any pics and information will be greatly appreciated.

    Photo is what i got.....

    Many thanks!!Name: image.jpg

Is the carpet installed? if not the lap belt anchorages are readily visible. Are you aware that the original anchorage points will put the lap belt around your stomach?

I did not. Carpet is installed and on the side sills and the tunnel the car has some color-coded fiberglass panels which i've begun to remove. Would definitely consider a safer plan B, but need some advise or experiences shared.

    Thanks,

I've got replicas of race seats in my 67, and the adapter frames come with the belt anchorages formed as part of the adapter, so mine was easy. I was just having this discussion a week ago with a customer about his 67. I suggested maybe a better anchorage would be to do as was done in the 64-65 356's. On those cars the factory installed anchorage points where the floor joined the vertical bulkhead beneath the rear jump seats. At least that gets the belts around your pelvis where they belong.

Ed, any thanks for your reply. Who did you buy your replica seats from? I like the idea that the anchorages are on the adapter frames.....

I bought mine from Stefan at GT Classic.
