FS: Original Vasek Polak License Plate Frame Owned by Briggs Cunningham...Not Mine

My local VW mechanic has done so many favors for me, I told him I would help him out with his very rare Vasek frame that has such a cool history. I've been foaming over this frame for years but he said he would never sell...I guess times change...I wish I had the money right now but have two cars in project mode that need every last bit of coin and then some...

Original Vasek Polak license plate frame made by Robert W Brown co. in Downey California model no.9.

It was one of the surviving parts from my 1966 BMW 2000TI.
The car this frame lived on was purchased new from Vasek by Famed race car driver and builder pioneer Briggs Cunningham. It was then bought by my employer, then by me in the 1980s. I drove it through college and it was totaled shortly after.

It is in used shape with the typical arc from being installed on a bumper. the chrome is flaking but it is not cracked or repaired.

    I'm selling it for $1,200.
