    7 X 15, 4/73 dated Fuch wheel value. ?

At the risk of being burnt at the early S registry stake i need a value for a single 7 x 15 Fuch wheel. I have searched high and low, here, the bird, and via google. Nothing found.
What is the current value for a core wheel. ??

    Thanks in advance.

I bought 4, 4/73, flat six fuchs that had been polished roughly 1 year ago for $1500. I don't think the price has changed that much so maybe $400 a wheel in today's market?

Singles usually sell for more, I would say more like $500 to $650 depending on condition.

Thanks for the reply. This wheel is a 7 x 15 though. In the date span for an RS car, so more desirable than a 6.

Absolutely true. I missed that it was a 7x15. An RS wheel date stamped 4/73 may run $600 plus based on condition.

Sierra Madre Collection is offering a set of four 7J x 15 refurbished Fuchs wheels for $3,940 if that helps. http://www.sierramadrecollection.com...ed-p18566.html

They're later wheels - an early '01' 7x15in Fuchs (which accepts the 3-prong centre cap) is worth significantly more than a later wheel.

Dave - it would be worth contacting Harvey W as he often has customers asking him to find wheels with a particular date code to refurbish.

    Dave,

Last couple of rough early 7J's x 15 were offered on eBay for around €900-1000,-. Don't know if they were sold for that price though...

I agree with Cees post. I have seen them actually sell for 750-850 and more depending on if a person needs a single or that particular date.
They have to be in restorable condition though. The 7s had the worst record for cracking of all the early wheels....
(i.e. first gen thin wall and plus the rear of a high performance car (RS) equals more failures...)
I have customers that need a single so send some photos if you want to get a offer.
