    These switches look like the reverse switch used on 356's preA through 1957? with a little modification to the button, and ivory, grey green, or grey paint they would work for starter buttons on preA 356's too. Is the nut black plastic or black Aluminum? Thank you Andy

    The retaining nut which holds the switch into the dash from behind is black plastic.
