    not listed in 71
listed in parts catalog 72 for the first time

according to the catalog its the two stage switch for front and rear fog lights
the switch with part# 911.613.027.01 is the single stage one for the rear fog light

It seems that yours is missing the most important piece, the bezel to screw it in place in the dash.
It came in three different versions, chrome bezel for 72, black plastic bezel for 73 and the later bezel for 74 and onwards that is not usable for our pre impact bumper cars.
