WTT: Early RS dated 12/72 pair of 7 x 15 Fuch wheels. Trade for earlier 7 x 15 set

I have a pair of core 7 x 15 fuch wheels that fall within the production dates of the RS. These are both dated 12 / 72. They are very straight with no deep road rash although they will require the Harvey treatment for your RS. I would like to trade for an earlier pair that are already restored and ready to go on the front of my ST build. I don't expect these to be real 7R versions. But i won't refuse a pair.!!!

i am just trying to queue jump the restoration of my wheels and an earlier dated pair are more correct for my build.

I am not bothered about the dates, I understand the non 7R wheels with part number ending in, 01 started in March 71.

No tyre kickers, or weld up's please. Or " i have a set of this or that to trade "

If it were me Dave I would hang on to those. I have run Fuchs for a good few years and at least three have cracked over that time. Early 7's are so difficult to get now and a spare pair of roughly the correct vintage can't go wrong. It won't be long before post 73 7's (or repros)are the only economical ones available. If you needed a spare in a few years time you would be kicking yourself for selling/swoping.

    Regards

Hi Dave, I will trade if you want to. I have deep 6s, flat 6 or later 7s all ready and restored.

I could keep them if i was a pound behind you Mike.

Alan, i need the early wheel 01 part number or 7R . I actually prefer the 01 wheel as i won't need to run spacers. No centre cap on an ST.

Can you imagine the scandal if i am using the later thin ring type 7" fuch.

Still looking to give these up for an RS

Any early 7 x15 pair from 3/71 - onwards is good for my needs.

    Dave,

I need to check what I have stored away, I am sure I have some 71 dated 8J's but can't remember the dates on the 7J's. All my wheels have been restored by a fellow countrymen of yours...Only trade condition will be that your wheels are restored by him as well. Sure you can understand. Will be back home in about 10 days.

    Cheers,

    Cees
