In case anybody's interested in a good solid driver 912 I'm selling my '68 Soft Window. One older amatuer repaint in original Burgundy Red done 15 or so years ago by
previous owner. Pans replaced at the same time. No accidents, very straight body. Original engine and 5 speed as confirmed by the COA. Rear seat delete, rear window
boot, jack, owner's manual and all 5 original chrome wheels dated 11/67. Car built in 12/67. Smog crap removed years ago. Fun car to drive. $52.5K. Any interest, please
email for more info and pix at kwiky59gt@yahoo.com Car located with me in Santa Rosa, CA.
Cheers, Dave
Nice car! With the rise of 911 prices, more people are looking at 912 and rightly so. Better balanced than a 911, and an engine strong enough to have fun, and except for 2 cylinders missing, it's all Porsche.
I do meet people who are disappointed by the VW engine sound, but a wonderful car to cruise around....a soft window at 50K sounds like a great deal to me.....
Hey Kevin I sent you a couple PMs. I think your box is full.

These are great threads. It really shows the enthusiasts' passion for these SWB cars. Just an FYI, for those proclaiming a painted dash , three gauge 912, is the cats's meow......NOT , true. The MORE valuable car is the three gauge black dash, SWB 912. Same is true for the glass window , 912, SWB, MUCH HIGHER LEVEL, of demand, than SWT.
All great possessions to own and drive.

r-mm,
I know you want green gauges but how about a green car instead?
I'll be posting a '68 coupe here next week. Very rare Metallic Green.
AZ car that we've been maintaining for over 25 years; über nice driver.
Probably low 40's?
