    69 dash

Is the 69 dash a one year only. 9 1/2" speaker hole rather than 10"?

Yes, one-year-only. I have the exact speaker grill measurements somewhere. Let me look.

Take a look at this one i have on ebay Bob. You can see the clips on the rear of the speaker grille instead of the threaded studs.

A few pictures of Mine! The funny thing is the divets in the sides are how the factory sent it out,my uncle bought this car new and it was like that when he picked the car up at the factory in Germany! These grills were not made to Last this one is in my car that has never been parked outside the garage for more than a few hours at a time

Does anyone know where one could get new spring clips for the grille?

    TIA,

is the original speaker a drop in from the top or is it under mounted ? not looking forward to discovering myself

I am thinking of replacing with a stereo speaker in a single frame... which could boost performance and eliminate using remote speakers elsewhere... thinking anything would be an improvement over the original mono speaker while maintaining original look... ( replacement dash did not have separate speaker grill )
