Ex 69 911 Yellow Canadian Race Car Now In UK seeking History ....

I am just about to buy a 1969 911T race car from Denmark, which originally raced in Canada, as I have Canadian race papers with the car

Anyone have any history or knowledge of the car, picture enclosed, I know it went to Germany to race for a while as well

    Chassis Number is 1191233000
It definitely raced at the following meets

30 April 2000 Rivers Edge SCCA
    20 May 2000 KNOX
01 July 2000 SIR PNW Historic
18 Aug 2000 Race City VOTP
    25 May 2002 Rivers Edge

Would appear to be a Western Canadian car, perhaps based out of Vancouver. Race City is (was) in Calgary (where I am), SIR is Seattle, Rivers Edge is Mission Raceway in Vancouver.

You may be able to find an answer on the Porsche Club of America forums for the Vancouver Region.

I will check with our local Porsche Club and see if anyone knows about the car.

The Knox results show it was driven by Bob Storz, of Westbank BC, 5th in vintage class at 2:15... (via our local forum)

Mr. Storz's first name is apparently Walter. He is from Westbank, British Columbia (or was at the time the car was raced)

From a 2009 record I found, he drove a yellow 1969 Porsche 911 in a vintage racing series.

I pickup the car on Tuesday and I will be prepping it to race at Silverstone on the 9th May
    More pictures to follow

Haven't tracked down the Canadian owner yet but if anyone knows Bob Storz would love to get some early history I have a Canadian race log book with the car

Interior shots plus shot of car racing at Copenhagen Classic GP
Car is built as an FIA 911S spec car apparently giving circa 190BHP
