Thanks for the pix of 70 RSR Doug -- I forgot to take any!
Built on a '70 T, with a 2.8L twin-plug. She ran great. I picked up a screw in the driver's rear Sat morning, rushed out to a local truck tire repair shop, who was able to patch it in time for the next run group. Got a meatball flag for smoking in the last session Saturday and found some older oil lines that are weeping a little oil, and some rubbing between right rear tire and the front mounted oil cooler lines, as well as a leaking 930 brake piston seal, so those will need addressing. Couldn't stay for Sunday and the timed runs, but had a blast... aprox 130mph into the Roval... hold on baby!
So where was the 917 we were told would be there. I only saw a replica 917.
When I signed the waiver at the front gate Saturday at about noon, the gal said there were TWO 917's present.

A 1969 2.0L 911S with later fiberglass(?) chin spoiler:
7" Rims fit nice - looks good.
California black plates:
After market seats in what appears to be an original interior.
