    WTB: fan and housing

    Looking for a matched 010.03 fan and 101.5R housing - the basic '69-74 getup. What I want it a pair that haven't been blasted, painted, powder-coated, nothing - just the original finish with Cosmoline on it. Let me know if you can help me, thanks!

    Check over on the Samba there is a guy goes by "Hencar" that sells a lot of fans and housing both original and restored.

    Thanks for the tip. I occasionally troll over there but it's hard. Some people are pretty proud of their junk! Hencar isn't one of them, by the way. I found one of his ads and emailed him. We'll see!

    I have a setup for $650, including alternator. it's a 5R flavor ring. You would definitely have to re-cosmoline it though. It's in typical conditon.

    BTW, Hencar is Henry Carraro and he's a really good guy. Does business as Hcarraro on the Bird...
