911 ST or S Front Oil Cooler & Shroud

Offered is an original Right Front Fender BERH Porsche 911 oil cooler for the 911 ST or (I believe) the 70 & 71 911 S Cars.

The cooler has been repaired as shown in the photos and it has been pressure tested (it's fine). You may want to make further repairs on the cooler to fit you cosmetic requirements. When the cooler is mounted in the shroud and installed in your car, I do not think you will see the repairs... The Shroud is in nice condition as shown in the photos, and it is quite rare. I am NOT interested in selling these items separately. Stoddard offered these coolers a few years back at $2600 US each.

    Nearly nothing. It is double.

As if our European Socialist friends didn't have things bad enough with their crumbling euro.

Seller's prerogative. Nonetheless, I'm still curious to hear the reasoning behind this.

I'm curious as to why so many sellers go back and delete the ask price for items after they have sold?
What is the reasoning behind this?
