    FS: 1960 Porsche 356 S90 motor - runs good

Runs good with NO smoke or bad noises. I ran it for a few minutes.
Compression is 115 115 135 135 and end play is .0065". I can email a short video of it running.

Engine looks pretty fresh, but last run 20+ years ago. I would expect the compression numbers to come up a bit after it's been run some.

It has Black S90 heads, S90 Flywheel, Biral cylinders & S90 3rd piece, but the case was changed to a late 1959 early B. The 3rd piece is very early 1960 so I suspect the original S90 case got trashed very, very early on and they replaced it with this one. Since it has the S90 55mm flywheel it must have the S90 Crankshaft which means it was line-bored to accept the 55mm journals.

The carbs that came with it are ready for a rebuild(one is apart). The Solex carbs in the photos are a set that I keep for just such occasions and not included. They were rebuilt by Bieker Engineering and have the special o-ringed shafts - if you wanted them instead, add $1500 to price.

The engine is $4975 or $6475 with the Bieker carbs.

I can strap this engine to a pallet and ship anywhere in Conus for $450 or less.
