    FS: 1967 Pair Weber 40IDA 3C1 & 3C Carburetors, Manifolds, Air Cleaners, & Linkage

For Sold Pair Right and left Weber Carburetors 40IDA 3C1 and 3C , Pair of Manifolds 901.108.321.1R dated 6-66 (uncleaned with factory paint mark), Pair of K&N Air Cleaners, and Linkage. Carburetors were removed from a good running engine #9115xx 901/06 rusty 1967 sunroof coupe #307xxx. The car was parted out. The carburetors are in good condition with good serviceable throttle shafts and butterflies. The main jets 125 and the idles 55. No cracks or repairs to the carburetors or the manifolds. These are in as removed clean condition. I have not cleaned them up in any way. My Recommendation is: They should be taken apart, cleaned, kitted and then bolted on and USED on your project. This is a good pair of early Weber 40IDA 3C1 and 3C Carburetors.
Asking Price was $2300.00 for the Carbs, Manifolds, Air Cleaners, and Linkage. Price includes all paypal fees and shipping within the USA.
    Thank you Andy Anderson

Other Quote from Cairns888, "Very very annoying. Why do people do it?"

Why the insatiable appetite for the knowledge of prices? The Asking price is a starting point. The selling Price is the real number. I sold them for far less than that of the asking price with a satisfaction/money-back guarantee.
    Regards Andy

It's useful info; hence, regular requests for pricing help in General Info.

    Andy,

Peter just explained it in black and white.
It takes far less effort not to adjust the price to sold.
Someone got a bargain if you ask me. Especially with those covers. Congratulations to them.

    Thanks

Not a personal dig a356kid. I agree the final price is a personal thing between buyer and seller - no probs there. But it is increasingly difficult to find jump-off points when advertising, and when researching to budget a build. God knows if you get the price wrong, you're smashed with ridicule if it's too high and tutt-tutting if it's too low
