    Fuchs Rim Size on a 70 911?

Hi, I need some help with determining my options for Fuchs rims for my 70 911. I would like a wider low profile tire if possible. What size rims and tires would you all recommend? Could I go with a 15x7 or 16x7?

    Thank you!

The late 15 X 7 is as wide as you can go and even then, you have to use the right size tire. The early 15 X 7's better known as 7'rs will work no problem. Just be prepared to drop $5K for a pair. 16 X 7's will not work. I have my '72 sitting on 16 X 7's, but only because the engine isn't in the car. Just looking at them, I can tell they won't work. To definitively clarify, when I was down in Oroville visting with Harvey Weidman a few weeks back, Hi Harvey! , he told me that the 16 X 7's will not work. So 15 X 7 or 16 X 6, unfortunately on these cars, you must choose between lower profile or wider tires.
