    Anybody actually driven one?

I've only slobbered over the car at last year's Werks, so . . .

Bizarre! Your car is so beautifully subtle and refined, such an opposite of a ghastly overstyled Singer, amazing that you can like both!

    More like . . . deeply-deeply impressed

Mr Dickenson's approach reminds of Pigani's. Along w/ all the eye-candy --- not-to-mention the feeling/listening when this thing gets going . . . one gets towering performance

And remember --- these cars are all built-to-suit. If An Owner wants bling/crass/naff/vulgar . . . Mr D will serve it right up. And profitably. Not his fault --- or the car's

    And you're right . . .

. . . a Singer is about as far away from the kinds of cars that I come here for as it's possible to be --- and, yet? . . .

    . . . it's an amazing thing up-close

And SOOOOOOOO much money --- really appalling

I still wonder how it drives, though . . .

. . . and how 'stripped-down' can one be had

I think the fact that it runs the quarter mile in 11 seconds is impressive, and I'm not a drag race kind of guy. And when you think of the fact that Chris Harris gets to drive all manor of modern top dollar machinery and he gushed over the Singer... That's saying a lot about how they drive.

Got this link today from PCA email, and thought it was Singer. Alarmingly similar to Singer at first glance.

only natural - someone thinks a questionable car (singer - isn't that a sewing machine?) priced at $700k isn't going to get knocked off at 25% of the price
