'. . . According to the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, 9113300535 was sold new to Italy with air-conditioning, crash bar for the front condenser, radio delete, tinted glass and obligatory warning triangle. Believed to have resided in Milan (original shop decal underhood), the Coupe was later imported to the U.S., where it was stored for many years as an unused original example. The third owner acquired the 911S from its second caretaker in San Antonio, Texas, in June of 2010, and two years later commissioned a sympathetic restoration, which is documented in an accompanying binder. During the process, all paintwork was properly refinished in its original Light Ivory, as was the correct black leatherette interior with new carpets, dash top, and headliner. The suspension was rebuilt and the engine and drivetrain was disassembled and renewed as necessary, including the wheels and tires. Work took place during a two-year period between 2012 and 2014, conducted without regard to expense.

It is believed by previous ownership that the mileage of 17,000 km is correct and original, but cannot be verified on paper. Additionally this great example is fitted with matching luggage straps and Italian license plates, the Porsche is also complemented by its original date coded spare, owner's manual, tool roll, jack, Porsche Certificate of Authenticity and service documentation . . .'

Cosmetically refreshed a few years ago with new paint and interior other than what is claimed to be the original seat upholstery. Very good paint other than a chip on the filler cap. Excellent interior. Clean engine bay and undercarriage. A desirable 911S in honest and refreshingly original condition. – Having had no more work done to it than was necessary to keep it going and reasonably presented, this Euro spec 190hp 911S is unusually encouraging. It didn’t come close to its low estimate but brought a realistic price for its specifications and condition and the new owner shouldn’t expect many, if any, unpleasant surprises . . .'
