    WTB: fresh air vent parts needed

    dear all,
    my fesh air vent of my 65 912 was not working and in rainy condition the water came inside due to the faulty position of the flap. the hand switch was not working, as the cable was already broken. i decided to have a look at it and found the flap being unusable due to plastic broken parts and old age wear.

    in order to reconstruct and get the drain pipe in proper use i do need the parts for the fresh air vent, mainly the flap, or the complete casing depending on who got what lying around...

    so here is the list:
    2,3,11,15 und 16

    with best regards

    Here are your parts in a nutshell. All carefully removed from a 67.

    I sent Mr Haul the same components Jim has pictured, back in May. Parts are now happier in Braveria than my garage in North Carolina!

    @all
    jerry s parts finally arrived last friday and it took the longest time ever for german customs to inspect the parts.
    It was too suspicious for them and of course we can built whatever with these dubious metallurgious rubberized string stingaz....

    @Jerry

    next time, include a cover letter & the parts diagram, but it was likely in a long line of other stuff they were checking

    I'm glad they keep bombers from killing me and my friends... worth a delay
