    I'm not certain, I don't have the complete history of the motor as it's older than me.

    Again, not sure if they are original or not. I know the carbs and the trans are not correct for the 66' model year. 66' was supposed to have weber IDA instead of IDTP. These would be correct for a 68 or a 914-6.

    Your chain boxes are magnesium, which is 68? and up. Either the boxes or case has been modified to make it fit. The top valve cover looks to be mag too. Also your fan assembly is not '66 but 69 and up.

    I think you need some experience / knowledge to see what your engine consists off. The longer you look at it, the more one sees. Do you have another picture of your oil filter? It seems to be mounted sideways?

    The oil filter that was on the car it came from? The engine was last in a 72' 911

    On the right side of the first picture you posted. The orange filter at 2 o'clock

    I believe that was the only photo I had. Again it was a 72' not a 66' that the motor was in. It's my understanding the motor may have been in a 68 before that car which may have been where the fan came from.
