    67S engine case

I own an aluminium engine case with the number 960266 and the date of the casting is 67/07. I am not sure if this case is an original S case or has been restamped. Could you please have a look at the pictures and let me know your opinion. Every opinion is highly appreciated.

    901/02 962163 9178

Build number 8918 would fall between engine serial numbers 962004 and 962026 while engine serial number 960266 would fall between build numbers 5732 and 5763.

Your engine serial number and engine build number seem to be out of sequence.

See my earlier thread here: http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...ghlight=960266

I saw this case on eBay and thought it looked off.
