Friends of Steve McQueen: Saturday June 6 in Chino Hills

Don't forget: The Friends of Steve McQueen Car and Motorcycle Show benefitting Boys Republic in Chino Hills is being held on Saturday June 6, 2015. Always a good show -- raising money for a very good cause. Chad McQueen and Neile Adams McQueen have nearly always attended the show to share their stories about the Man and are expected this year as well. This year's film theme salutes the classic Bruce Brown motorcycling documentary "On Any Sunday."

Ray might go, as well as Will S. I think this year is going to be the biggest yet.......

Since Steve McQueen is R Gruppe member #1.......out of respect, we ALL ought to be there....just my humble opinion / .02 cents.....

How about that! A few others did too -- the PMNA brass present were wondering what that Italian interloper was doing in amongst Zuffenhausen's finest, though! Rumor has it that over $360K raised for Boys Republic -- and counting.

Ah yes the Italian interloper Lancia LC-2 .
WEC in Martini livery of the mid '80s, piloted by Mauro Baldi.
Made for some great racing at the 'ring and Spa !

Actually, a '79-'82 Lancia Beta Montecarlo Turbo Group 5, from when the Makes and Drivers championships were run to the so-called "Silhouette" regulations. A contemporary of the Porsche 935. Pininfarina did the beautiful '81-'82 Martini livery; this car was driven by F1 aces Patrese and Alboreto.
