    68 swt

    Any figures on the number of 68 Targas still around, any registry? How rare are they, how desirable, value in restored condition?

    I know of one SWT '68 S in LHD in the UK that is possibly for sale. Not mine, but I know the seller well. Not matching numbers, but engine within about 30 digits of original. Just finishing total restoration by a local expert. Looked immaculate. Slate grey over red. I think the price he was talking about was region of $250k. I believe a very good restoration 69S SWT non-matching, widely praised on this site, made $286 at auction start of the year.
