Item For Sale Described as "Driver Quality"

What does this mean? Bare minimum that will pass DMV inspection?

I have always interpreted it to mean not concours or NOS but used and fully functional for its intended purpose.

It is a POS that was removed and replaced with a far better part from the seller's car because he was embarrassed to be seen in public with it. It is a part that the seller would never buy to put on his own "driver" but thinks somebody else would.

    Regards

If you are a crappy driver, it is of equal quality.

This is the winner! Could not have said it better myself. Just throw the damn thing away and stop taking up space in the "Parts For Sale" thread!

Maybe something to use when you dont want to risk that perfect original part, could be cosmetically challenged or not quite accurate repro

"Driver Quality Parts" they are the parts we all have sitting in boxes in our garages after taking them off our cars. When the wife complains about the garage mess we then list them for sale and show her the "for sale" listing, this usually buys another year of storage and the cycle continues!
