    66 4SPD trans

    With information provided below this is more likely used in a 65 or early 66 911 or 912. Case date is 12/65 4 SPD trans. Version 902/0, Serial #162165. Condition is as is.     Not necessarily, it came in both 911s and 912s.

    It is actually a '65 4-speed, probably 912, but will work in any SWB car with appropriate axle flanges.
    The "12/65" date indicates the housing was cast in 12th week of 1965.
    According to the factory Specs booklet, "160001-162462 (to 26 Jul 1965)".
