    Engine Compartment Identification Help

I wish to remove this long horizontal tank(?) that is attached to the rear of the firewall to install new engine insulation pad. The old pad fits behind it. Do you need to remove the interior paneling to get to the mounting nuts? And btw, what is it? I believe it is fuel related.

    Thanks!

It's the vacuum reserve tank for your sportomatic, and it should be removable from the engine bay side.
