    Door pocket repair

I have an extra set of door pockets that I thought that I would refurbish and then replace my current set while I refurbish them.

    The main issues are:

Slight warping of the folding pockets
Vinyl coming off the folding pockets
Missing top trim on driver's folding pocket

Speaker holes in spare map pockets
Need new vinyl for spare map pockets
Loose bolts in the spare map pockets

Interestingly, I was watching a great Youtube video on straightening the folding map pockets.

Any idea where the guy in the video (Chris Davies) got the aluminium channel to make the trim? It looks like a good match. I took a piece down to the local metal fabricator and he told me that they don't carry anything that small and I needed to buy 1,100 pounds of it in order for them to make it!

    Any ideas for the trim?

Sierra Madre has a kit for the door pocket trim. I have a set for my refurbished door pockets. They look like they will work well but I have not installed them yet.

Unfortunately Sierra Madre is out of stock of this door pocket aluminum trim.
They answered me that they will come back when a new batch will be ready for sale, but at the moment they have no idea when this will happen...
At the moment seems impossible to find...
I did also watch that video: interesting, but like you I didnt find yet any aluminum profile similar to that.
I will go on searching and report here if I'll be succesfull
